step 3: track time information
< previous step / next step >

Track times

Track Times take place each afternoon during camp. Campers will get to experience two tracks (Track A & Track B). We offer a variety of options to appeal to kids with a wide range of interests (sports, art, science, swimming, etc.). Tracks are a big deal to campers because they are the only part of the day that campers get to choose!

As part of your camp prep, each camper needs to select their TOP 4 Track Time choices. We know Track Time selection for campers can be a bit of a puzzle. We’ve heard your feedback and made a few changes that we think will make things smoother for everyone!

Process for Collecting and Inputting Tracks
  • Beginning last year, parents will select their camper’s preferred Track Time options at the same time they complete the waiver and release form. This means the choices will automatically populate into your Participant List (more details in Step 4). During the waiver process, parents will have a link to view a video and a PDF that provides a description of the different tracks we offer so they can make informed decisions.

  • Group Leaders can always add, update, or change any entries on your Participant List (details on Step 4). If needed, you can also input the information manually.

  • Information on your Participant List will still auto-match! So you can add participants to your list (name, gender, grade, etc.), and when parents complete the waiver, it will match to the correct participant and update with Track Time selections.

  • A key point to remember is that the last submission—whether from a parent via the waiver, or a Group Leader via the Participant List—will be the one that’s saved. So if you manually add Track Time selections and a parent later completes the waiver, their choices will replace what’s on the list.

On the first night of camp, you will receive final assignments for Track Times from your Camp Director.

Click below to view a full list of the Track Times we offer, along with a brief description. You can also view a video to help give campers an idea about what to expect in each track. (This information will be available to parents during the waiver process.)

*Please remember that Track Times vary by location and by staffing availability.

Track Time Cards

The track options for each camp are listed on a unique, location-specific Track Time Card, available below. You can download these cards to preview the tracks offered for your camp location, and you can use them to collect selections from campers if you prefer to input tracks on your Participant List manually.

Ideas for collecting Track Time options

Download and print some location-specific Track Time Cards for campers to view. During a Sunday or Wednesday gathering, show the track description video and allow campers to make their choices. Send the Track Time Cards home with campers so parents can input the information when they complete a waiver.
