My name is Lukas Comer, and I have been the Kids Minister at Church on Bayshore, located in Niceville, FL, for the past 4 years. I have an incredible wife named Chloe! I attended CentriKid as a camper, served CentriKid (summers of 2016-2019) as a staffer, and am now bringing my church to CentriKid as a Group Leader. I love camp ministry, and I am so excited to partner with group leaders as we embark on the best week of the year!

Hey, I’m Lauren! I am the Worship Leader at Church of the Harvest in Olive Branch, MS. I started leading worship at age 15 and fell in love with seeing how God touched lives through worship. I went on to get my B.A. in Modern Music with an emphasis on Worship Leading. I love traveling and meeting people from all different cultures and backgrounds. I love experiencing and embracing all that God has created. I have a huge heart for kids and am very passionate about investing in the next generation. I believe that there is so much we can learn from one another and I love having the opportunity to serve within God’s Kingdom. Can’t wait to meet you!
about the campus
Located in Cook Springs, AL, WorldSong Retreat Center is situated about 30 minutes East of Birmingham. The beautiful grounds have a variety of recreational activities that span over their 618 acres.
The campus features recreational activities such as, gaga ball, tetherball, canoeing, low/high ropes course, hiking trails and a pool.
There are plenty of comfortable seating areas tucked all around campus, which provide the perfect spaces to hang out and have fun!
in case of inclement weather
We communicate with Group Leaders on-site when inclement weather is approaching, and our staff have plans in place to keep the fun going safely indoors.
The large Chapel (auditorium) and Dining room can be used as multipurpose spaces if needed. Your Camp Director will keep you updated on everything you need to know when conditions like these arise at camp.

housing information
Campers will be housed in dormitories. These are bunkhouse-style housing, with about 12-20 beds per room and shared baths. Each dormitory has an adult room. There is also a laundry room available on site.
Sheets and towels are NOT provided. Plan to bring bedding for twin beds. Sleeping bags also work great at camp.

Specific housing assignments will be determined when we have received a participant list for each church attending camp for the week, typically 1-2 weeks prior to arrival. While we strive to give each group their own space, due to the nature of housing facilities at WorldSong, churches may be asked to share a building with other groups.

Dr. Shane Garrison is Professor of Educational Ministries at Campbellsville University School of Theology. Shane has served with CentriKid for ten years as a camp pastor and on the content creation team. He is married to Jennifer and they have two teenage sons.
