Camp Pastor
James Jackson
James (“Old Guy”) Jackson has been the lead pastor of Glynwood Baptist Church in Prattville, Alabama since 2017. Prior to moving to Prattville, he worked at LifeWay, and was part of the team that first dreamed up CentriKid way back in 1998. He has served as a CentriKid pastor since 2013. James and his wife Trish have two adult sons and one grandson, in addition to two cats and an extremely hyper Labradoodle.
Worship Leader
Ellex Hiebert
Ellex Hiebert is the Middle School Worship Leader at First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She has over two decades of ministry experience and is currently earning her Master’s in Worship Leadership at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. This will be Ellex’s first time at CentriKid Camps. She is so honored to be involved and excited to see how God moves!
About the campus
The staff we work alongside at the University of West Alabama are fantastic! They are dedicated to going above and beyond to make it a great week at camp! This beautiful is a small, quiet town campus, which makes keeping up with campers and getting to see them at Recreation and Track Times easy.
amenities on campus
There is a pool available for use during the day. CentriKid staff will help establish pool rotations so that everyone has access throughout the week.
In case of bad weather
In case of inclement weather, we use the gym, Gilbert and Wallace Hall, and other facilities on campus to keep campers safe while still being able to enjoy each activity at camp. Your Camp Director will keep you updated on everything you need to know when conditions like these arise at camp.

HOUSING INFORMATION
Housing arrangements are dorm rooms with 2 beds and a private bath. Safety is a priority, so specific dorms, halls, and individual rooms require a key-card. The front desk is manned certain hours during the day for help with lock-outs, questions, and security.

Zach and Drew met in college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK. They started to lead worship at the BCM on campus in 2012 and have led on and off since. Zach is married to his wife 
Austin Miller Band is a group based out of the Carolinas that formed in 2018. Known for their high energy, and passion, AMB constantly seeks to point others to Christ through their music and lives. Seeking to tear down the divide that seems to have been made between the stage and the seats, AMB can be found all over camp with students and their leaders. They want to get to know you, your story, and what God is doing in your life. 
Jonathan & Emily can’t wait to start their 7th summer with 
Eryn Riley is a student at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas majoring in Vocal Music Education. This is her second official year with CentriKid, and she is thankful for the opportunity to lead out in worship (one of the best parts of camp)! CentriKid has quickly become one of her favorite things, and she is so excited for this summer!
Matt is a worship pastor / leader currently residing in Hernando MS. He has spent the past 16 years traveling and leading across the country, while also serving for the past decade as one of the founding pastors and worship leader of Eastpoint Church in Lewisburg, MS. His desire is for people to realize and walk in their God given calling of glorifying The Father through individual & corporate worship
Dr. Shane Garrison is Professor of Educational Ministries at Campbellsville University School of Theology. Shane has served with CentriKid for ten years as a camp pastor and on the content creation team. He is married to Jennifer and they have two teenage sons.
