Camp Pastor

Justin Barton

Justin Barton has served with CentriKid Camps for over 10 years as a leader and Camp Pastor. He is a deacon and children’s Sunday School teacher at his home church. Justin and his wife, Caitlin, have 6 children, Bentley, Katie, Abigail, Addyson, Carter, and Blakelee. He is currently a middle and high ELA instructional coach and lives in Kingsport, TN. Justin loves to travel, spend time with his kids, and serve the local church.

Worship Leader

Chris Lombardo

Chris was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. He has been leading worship full time for different ministries and churches for the last 10 years. His desire is for kids and adults alike  to feel a closeness to the Lord through worship and the Word, believing that the Word is what fuels our worship. In his free time he loves all things food, spending time with his wife, Madeline, friends, and with his dog.

about the campus

Skycroft’s campus is close together, which makes keeping up with campers and getting to see them at Recreation and Track Times easy. Also, the Skycroft staff is fantastic and dedicated to making it an incredible week at camp!

CentriKid Camps offer a 4-day camp and a 3-day camp at Skycroft. There is lots of fun and intentionality fit into three and four days! For 4-day camp, churches have the option to leave Thursday night or Friday morning.

additional track time options

Skycroft Adventure Track includes a Water Slide, a Zip Line, and Bazooka Ball. Kids will LOVE their time here!

amenities on campus

There are fun hang time options that include a huge water slide, Gaga ball, basketball, 9 Square, a carnival, zip line, Bazooka Ball, and the pool. Bazooka Ball and the zip line do require purchased tickets. The last night will include s’mores and a camp fire, weather permitting!

Skycroft has a great snack shop, Hebrews Cafe, with lots of great food options ranging in price from 50 cents to $3.

in case of bad weather

We communicate with Group-Leaders on-site when we know bad weather is coming, and our staff have plans in place whenever storms pop-up unexpectedly.

In case of inclement weather, we use the Nelson building and other buildings on campus to keep campers safe while still being able to enjoy each activity at camp. Your Camp Director will keep you updated on everything you need to know when conditions like these arise at camp.

CLOSE TO CAMP

We know no one ever really wants to leave camp but here are a few locations that may be useful:

  • Walmart (16 mins)
  • Frederick Memorial Hospital (25 mins)
  • Frederick Immediate Care (23 mins)
  • Subway (16 mins)
