My name is Cam, and I’m the Director of Students of Banner Church in Jacksonville, AL. My first CentriKid camp was in Campbellsville in the third grade, so I’m excited to be back! I served two years on staff with CentriKid as a Bible Study Leader (2019) and Camp Pastor (2021). I’m now pursuing my M.Div in Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I’m excited to be returning back to CentriKid this summer because it brings me tremendous joy to see kids come to know Christ and worship Him for who He is!

Charlie Glover and Isaac Unkefer are best friends from Nashville, TN, and Jacksonville, FL, who share a passion for playing music together—and a big love for Centrikid! Isaac, a former Centrikid camper, has cherished the opportunity to return year after year, building friendships, worshiping God, and of course, playing OMC! This summer marks their fifth year leading worship at camp, and they couldn’t be more excited to return with their talented friend, Nolen Durham, on bass. They’re ready for another great summer of music, fun, and worship with all the campers!
about the campus
Gardner-Webb is placed in small town Boiling Springs, North Carolina. It is a quiet and clean campus that makes camp feel like the only thing going on in the world. This campus does provide a pool for campers. On Check-In day, campers will be able to take a swim test to swim in the deep end.
in case of bad weather
We communicate with Group Leaders on-site when we know bad weather is coming, and our staff have plans in place whenever storms pop-up unexpectedly.
In case of inclement weather, we use the Voss Gym and other buildings on campus to keep campers safe while still being able to enjoy each activity at camp. Your Camp Director will keep you updated on everything you need to know when conditions like these arise at camp.

HOUSING INFORMATION
For CentriKid, we use Spangler Hall, Myers Hall, Lutz-Yelton, Mauney, Decker, Stroup, and HAPY. Most of the housing is 2 beds per room with a community style bath, few may differ. Campers will need towels and linens. Find more info at https://gardner-webb.edu/student-life/residence-life/housing/.
Housing will be determined when we have received a participant list for each church attending camp for the week.

Dr. Shane Garrison is Professor of Educational Ministries at Campbellsville University School of Theology. Shane has served with CentriKid for ten years as a camp pastor and on the content creation team. He is married to Jennifer and they have two teenage sons.
