Camp Pastor

Avery Varnell

My name is Avery, and I serve alongside my wife, Caitlin, as the Family Pastor at LifePoint Church in Cartersville, Georgia. We have an awesome four year old little boy named Ruben who can’t wait to run around at camp. We’ve been bringing kids to CentriKid for over 5 years and can’t wait to serve your kids this summer!

Worship Leader

Nathan Taylor

Nathan Taylor and his wife Johnna Taylor are the founders of Collective Gathering and Collective Weekly in South Florida. This community brings musicians and worshippers from all different denominations, churches and backgrounds to gather in the same place to worship Jesus as one body in their region. Nathan and the worship community of the Collective travel as a team representing Jesus and bringing the sound of worship cultivated in South Florida.

about the campus

The staff we work alongside at Eckerd is fantastic! They are dedicated to going above and beyond to make it a great week at camp! The campus is absolutely beautiful and the Recreation field overlooks the bay.

amenities on campus

Eckerd College does have a pool available for use during the day. CentriKid staff will help establish pool rotations so that everyone has access throughout the week.

in case of bad weather

We communicate with Group-Leaders on-site when we know bad weather is coming, and our staff have plans in place whenever storms pop-up unexpectedly.

In case of inclement weather, we have plans of action to keep campers safe while still being able to enjoy each activity at camp. Your Camp Director will keep you updated on everything you need to know when conditions like these arise at camp.
