NOW AVAILABLE!
Step 1: Onboarding form & contract
Please take a moment to complete this form. This “onboarding form” will allow us to collect and / or verify pertinent information so that we can create and send your contract for camp, and it will help us with other preparations.
After completion, Amy Cato from our HQ team will initiate your contract in the coming weeks. You will receive the contract via email from “Lifeway Contracts.” Contracts are managed through a third-party service, Concord. Important: When you receive your contract, Concord will prompt you to “Activate your free account.” Please click “no thanks,” and then proceed through the steps to complete and sign. All contracts remain accessible via the unique, secured link provided in the email, so there is no need to create an account.
Please be aware that part of your contract will authorize Lifeway to conduct a background check.
Complete the onboarding form, and the subsequent contract, as soon as possible.
Step 2: Help us recruit ck staff!
Please help us recruit top-notch staff to serve at camp this summer. We are in need of more quality applicants of both genders, but we have a special need for more male staffers at camp. We know your time is valuable, but we could really use your help – so we are offering to pay you a recruiting bonus of $200 for every male staffer hired this summer! This will be calculated and added to your honorarium via a contract addendum after staffers arrive for Training Week at the end of May / beginning of June.
Get out there, and get recruiting!! The staff application is available at centrikid.lifeway.com/staff/.
[NOTE: CAMP PASTORS – You are NOT required to complete this application. Please forward the link to the application to any potential staffers.]
Step 3: banking & payment forms
Set up or update your direct deposit / banking information, if needed.
RETURNING PASTORS
If you’ve been paid by Lifeway/ CentriKid via direct deposit in the past, and if there are no changes to your banking information, no action is necessary.
UPDATES or CHANGES
If you’ve previously been paid by Lifeway/ CentriKid but need to UPDATE your banking information, use the ACH Enrollment Form. Submit the form to apsupplier@lifeway.com as directed.
NEW PASTORS
(1) Complete IRS form W-9. Send a completed Form W-9 to Alli Brown. (Alli is part of our CentriKid HQ team and helps with payments).
(2) Complete the ACH Enrollment Form, and submit to apsupplier@lifeway.com as directed.
Important Note: Please remember that the name you provide on form W-9 must also match the name on your ACH Enrollment Form AND your contract. To avoid potential delays in payment, please be consistent.
Submit all required banking forms by April 15.
Step 4: child protection training
All camp pastors are required to complete our Child Protection Training course. You can easily complete this training online. The course is hosted on Ministry Grid, our online training platform. If you already have a LifeWay ID, use those credentials to login. If not, create a new account, and then you should have access to the training.
There are a few videos to watch, a PDF you can review, and a short quiz. IMPORTANT: You must watch all videos to completion (even the trailing few seconds at the end) in order to advance to the quiz.
After you complete the course and receive a passing grade on the quiz, you will receive a certificate. Please email a copy of your certificate to Henry Dutton, or if you prefer, you can submit the certificate in-person next summer at your camp location.
This certification is good for 2 years. Some returning pastors from Texas locations may have completed this training last summer. If you still have your certificate, please double check that the date is still valid, and send it in. Some churches or ministries use MinistrySafe, a third-party service, to provide “Sexual Abuse Awareness Training” for volunteers and staff. If you have completed this MinistrySafe training and can produce your completion certificate, we will also accept this to satisfy our training requirement.
Complete the Child Protection Training by May 1.
